thanks for the lesson, I just have a question, normally I saw most of people workin with migration, If something change but why we use terminal? I change email address and update migration it wasn't work, I look sql and saw nothing updated then used terminal - dontnet run seeddata. If someone know how can I write different way explain for me or say me where can I find exactly resources for this

I had the problem of getting a 401 even when using the token when trying to get all the posts. It turned out that I was using the wrong security algorithm when creating the token, the video uses "HmacSha512Signature" but I was using "Aes256CbcHmacSha512" (which is wrong because it is typically not used for authentication, it provides the ability to encrypt and decrypt, so more appropriate for other use cases).

Hey Teddy, Great set of videos! I've always enjoyed your content. The only thing that was confusing was the use of the word "Portfolio". In my understanding, a portfolio of a collection of investments that may include stocks. So when one has a endpoint called "DeletePortfolio", it can be a bit confusing. Maybe "DeleteStockFromPortfolio"?

Is there a tutorial where you create an MVC from a blank project?

If anyone is facing issues with the id, use generation type auto instead of identity. In my case, when I try to create new form, its not automatically incrementing the id like it should, I couldn't figure out why but changing the strategy helped. If anyone knows the reason/how to fix this, please let me know. Thanks

So I'm following the .net tutorial trying to build something different so that I feel like I'm learning how to do things instead of just copying. And by the 14th video, the 1 to many one, I knew I had to do a many-to-many relationship (basically tagging items). I knew generally what I wanted and I knew I would need a join table. In the end I basically used the one-to -many video as guidance for both sides after some trial and error. I should've just looked forward in the video timeline XDDD

Make sure to turn off your antivirus if you have one for the dotnet ef migrations add init part of the video. Kept getting a The requested operation cannot be performed on a file with a user-mapped section open error.
